Licence Agreement

If you do not agree to these terms, then you may not install or use the JNIC software.

1. Licence, Ownership and Use

The JNIC software is licensed and not sold. We own and retain copyright over JNIC and its accompanying files and/or documents. The licencee is granted a perpetual non-exclusive non-transferable licence to use the JNIC software on one computer. If you wish to have the software useable on multiple devices at once or by more than one user, you must purchase additional licenses.

You may not incorporate or integrate the JNIC software into any other product without our express written permission. You may not reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile or alter this software in any way, nor may you reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile or alter in any way any source code or bytecode generated by the this software except to the extent that the foregoing restriction is expressly prohibited by applicable law.

2. Copying and Distribution.

You may NOT reproduce and/or distribute copies of the JNIC distribution files to third parties. You may make copies for internal backup purposes.

In the case of per-user licences, the licencee will be provided with a licence key following purchase of the software which must be used to activate the software. An internet connection is required to activate and use the software. The licence key may be used up to twenty times. Each use will allow transfer of the software from one device to another.

In the case of per-device licences, the licencee will be provided on request an activation file which should be placed in the same directory as JNIC to activate the software on that device. The initial licence will last 6 months, after which a permanent licence file will be provided, optionally for a different device.

3. Disclaimer of Warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.
